Why "Taiga"?
The name Taiga comes from the vast, cold forest biome found in subarctic regions also known as the northern boreal forest. It is the world’s largest terrestrial biome, stretching across Canada, Alaska, and the northernmost parts of the continental United States.
Its resilient nature, rich resources, and enduring presence reflect the values we stand for: strength, sustainability, and connection with nature.
Just like the taiga biome, Taiga International aims to build a strong, sustainable presence in the global metals trading industry — rooted in trust, adaptability, and long-term growth.
My Story
Hello, and thank you for visiting Taiga International.
My name is Jae Jang, President of Taiga International. With over 17 years of experience in the global non-ferrous metal trading industry, I have dedicated my career to building strong partnerships, creating value in the supply chain, and delivering trusted solutions to clients around the world.
I began my journey at LS MnM, where I spent 10 years managing the procurement of Raw materials. This experience gave me a deep understanding of market dynamics, sourcing strategies, and the importance of quality and reliability in the metals industry.
I then continued my career at Metalsko, a respected agency firm, where I worked for 7 years and further honed my expertise in international trade and logistics while expanding my global network.
In 2023, I established Taiga International with a clear mission: to connect global suppliers and buyers with transparency, integrity, and expertise. Our focus is on non-ferrous scrap metals, and we are committed to delivering professional services tailored to our clients' needs.
At Taiga International, we believe that trust is built through consistent performance, honest communication, and long-term relationships. That’s the spirit I bring into every deal and every partnership.
